GBHS track season begins this week

Jason Thompson/Gulf Breeze News The GBHS boys and girls track teams competed in a three-team meet (along with Navarre) at Pace Thursday.

The following is a list of how the GBHS boys finished:

Boys 4x800: Mason Youberg, Gary Quilligan, Ryan VonBrock, Dominic Moreno (8:50)

1600m: Mason Youberg (4:45) and Connor Creel (5:00)

100m: Jael Davis (11.88) Liam Werner (11.97)

4x100: Jael Davis, Liam ­Werner, Josh Stopper, London Parries (48.2s)

400m: Will Walden (57.8s), Andy Saunders (58.6s)

300 Hurdles: Hunter Galster (45.97) Jackson Galster (46.63)

800m: Jesse Grant (2:19) and Dominic Moreno (2:17)

200m: Josh Stopper (25.18) Denzel Laxamana (25.39)

3200m: Connor Creel (11:02) Mark Roof (11:41)

4x400: Brandon Klisart, Jesse Grant, Dominic Moreno, Andy Saunders (3:59)

Pole Vault: Philip Wade (11’) Jake Turner and Aaron Jennings (10’6”)

No girls times were recorded.

GBHS hosted Milton and Tate in their season opener Tuesday (after the News’ deadline). Gulf Breeze will compete in the Tiger Relays Saturday at Washington High School at 9 a.m.
