Gulf Breeze kindergartners got an architecture lesson on Dec. 14 when they built gingerbread houses inside the school cafeteria. Children were able to choose from an abundance of candy to build their creations.

Both Santa Rosa and Escambia counties have been awarded $200,000 each to help fund projects on the county naval bases to further protect their military missions within their county.
